About Us

The Edgemont Ranch Metropolitan District (ERMD) is a public agency created under the law of Colorado to serve both Edgemont Ranch and Edgemont Highlands. ERMD provides a domestic water system, a complete sanitary sewage system and is responsible for the construction, maintenance and snow removal for roads within the District boundaries.

The District is governed by an elected board of homeowners and currently has 6 employees. The District maintains and operates both a water processing plant and a waste water processing system which meet or exceed state and federal standards. ERMD has senior water rights on the Florida river, additional water sourced from the Florida Water Conservancy District. The Edgemont Reservoir was completed in 2014. Metro will begin construction of a new waste water plant in 2019.

ERMD offices and water plant are located at 5972 CR 234. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 2 PM, and emergency support is available 24 hours every day. Shop hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
